A blocker sees a website. RescueFocus sees your Task. When you drift, the eyes in the notch turn red. Stay away, and they give a small shake of the head. Come back, and they smile. Nothing is ever blocked. The Task below is a book's first page; yours can be a proposal, a pull request, or your taxes.
- What it looks at
- The title of the window in front of you, and a browser tab’s address. In the demo: “Book cover ideas”.
- How it decides
- It asks one question: does “Book cover ideas” serve “Write the first page”? It does not, so the eyes turn red.
- What stays private
- Titles only: it never reads what is on the page and takes no screenshots. It decides on your Mac, and by default nothing is sent anywhere.
The first page is the hardest one to write. After that, the book knows what it is.
